She’s the writer/director/producer of scalped!, a horror comedy short film about fandom, ticket scalpers, and best friends. scalped!, executive-produced by Homeland‘s Howard Gordon and School of Rock‘s Rivkah Reyes, is an official selection for Marina del Rey Film Festival, California Women’s Film Festival, and Popcorn Frights Film Festival. scalped! won the Best Horror Comedy Short Film at the 2024 Marina del Rey Film Festival and the First Place Audience Award at the California Women’s Film Festival.

Elana’s pilot Sofer Sophia is on The Red List for top-rated faith television projects. She was selected as a quarterfinalist for the Outstanding Screenplays Feature Competition for Subscribed to Her and a semifinalist for the ScreenCraft Comedy Screenplay Competition for Lila Tov.
